What's with the excessive quoting? Like when someone posts a whole lot of photos and the next post someone quotes ALL THE PHOTOS and adds a one-line reply.

And why does it make me so MAD?!?

Definately annoying

I hate the excessive quoting, too, btw :D But only when it comes to people's ... words. I like seeing lots of pics, though. And the pictures posted on this forum  are usually beyond cool :tu:

Well, yeah, when you want to reply to someone .... I prefer quoting only THEIR words if necessary (as the thread is not that active right now, it's not even necessary now, I think). So I hate it when someone replies to the person who said something last and quotes all the ten people before them :D And I usually stop reading the thread at about that time until things calm down  :D

But with a typical de-railed, multi-topic MTO thread you need the nested quotes or you can never be sure which sub topic the reply is addressing....

So this is right for you, right?
One downside, I received 18 reports from Tapatalk that someone quoted me.

I like it better on these massive quote bundles, having to click on the pic to view it. It brings out another dimension and it's more exciting too...

By the way, how do you post a link where the page starts at the selected reply?

You click on the main thread title and after it loads you copy the URL. You may also be able to just copy the link from the main thread without loading it

To go to the reply you click on the heading of the actual reply, just above the text.
