Definetly looks cool IMO. But with the reputation that the BG line of Gerber Products....I would never hand one to a younger generation. Or any for that matter

Wow it's like a sak.. only unpolished, clunky, blocky and 4 times more expensive.. ow and with the reknowned Gerber BG quality

The Bear Grylls canteen is actually very good.
That beeing said, I would prefer a SAK over that one.
I have its predecessor, the BG pocket tool, wich is OK, but a SAK is better.

Looks OK to me, and I seem to see that they've toned down the BG branding a bit.

Is this for kids?  Id still recommend a 'My first SAK' for a kids SAK, or tinker small.

They tried to make a DoE. Given the signature on it, it's probably more of a DOA.

I wish Vic would offer more knives with that butter blade for younger users. Oh well, not hard to make a sheepsfoot blade with a file, a Tinker or Compact and a movie that needs watching while you're doing the most boring thing in the universe and trying not to think of the sacrilege you are committing.

I dig the colors but otherwise not for me.  The full size phillips looks good as well as the thumb pad on the blade for OHO.
