I ended up grabbing a Kick the other day when I was in my office and needed a MT... I had almost forgotten what a compact and lightweight, yet capable tool the Kick is... and the scissors make it even more capable. :salute:

It weights at 5.6 oz, only 1 oz heavier than the popular Juice S2 but more capable in every way.

I like it!
Make it a combo blade and it could be my off-Day Carry anytime. Need to source a blade fitting my Kick with a broken blade now...
Got a set of scissors and a few Can openers, I think.
Do you know what blades will fit? I have 2 from a Blast, but they are too long.

You can see from below photos, there is absolutely no void space in Kick anymore.


I think blade from Blast, Fuse or Rebar can fit in there. The Rebar blade I installed currently is 2.9 in.
Keep in mind that there isn't a whole lots space in width to play with if you want to have four tool in there.
I wanted to have Rebar awl in there but I just could not fit it in. So I took the alternate route converting can opener to an awl.

Thank you for the insight and your quick answer. The Blast blade, while fitting perfectly pivot wise, it is too long and a bit wider than a Kick blade.
I´ll have a look at my SOG spares.

I am very happy with its current tool load out, with tools I use daily but nothing more.
I feel that serrated blade has more use in city life as opening package, cutting boxes, etc..
A dedicated folder would pair up with KickAss, maybe for food prep or self defense.

Great looking mod. I would personally keep the plain edge, but to be honest I wouldn't mind having a Kick with that exact tool layout. Thank goodness you converted the can opener. Don't get me wrong, I love having a can opener on some of my MT's. I just hate that every dang MT has one when a much more useful tool can be in its place.
