Hmmmm......  Gerber or slipjoints?  Why not both? :D

Gerber. Because I don't have any decent slipjoints.  ::)

:pok:  most SAKs are slipjoints   ;)

The category is "classic pattern slip joints", I don't think SAKs are what Kirky had in mind. ;)

Zoidberg; you need to get a classic slip joint.  Get your hands on a Rough Rider or two.  Great knives for next to nothing prices.
That from the guy who owns no farmer  >:D

I'm not sure I ever convinced Mike that owning this improved Farmer counts.  :D

Alright, for me that counts :salute:
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Guess I'll be back to my regular EDC stuff.....I could have swung a Wenger carry but not using trad slippies right now and only own 1 Gerber knife (I think), a black, drop point sheath knife that my (ex) wife gave me 7-8 years ago.

How about UK legal? Sub 3" (76.2mm) non locking?

But NOT a SAK

I thought it would be fun to see what people who normally carry locking blades come up with  :tu:

The good reason is open to interpretation, so non locking, non SAK and no fixed blades. Just  a thought

If I hadn't just discovered this thread, I would have voted for classic Leatherman as 2 of my faves are in that family.  Looks like Gerber is the winner, which would give me a good excuse to carry my Diesel more.  Only issue it that it can be too bulky and heavy for some of the pants I wear to work.  Of course, I have my MP400 as well for that.
