SAK in A-Team
on: May 09, 2015, 02:31:06 PM
I've searched around, but I did not see anyone else bringing this up, soo...
I got the SAK bug in the last week, and since then, I have watched a few episodes of the A-Team, because I like it.  :P

So anyway, in Season 3, Episode 13, "Breakout!", I noticed B.A using a Victorinox(?) SAK :D , found in the vehicle that they "Borrowed".
I was really surprised, since I have not seen any SAK's on the show before.

Can anyone I.D the model? I saw a saw(sorry for the pun) being used, and a corkscrew in the handle.

Has anyone else seen SAK's in the show?
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Probably not, since the Climber does not have a saw.
The one in the picture looks like a 4 layer?
More likely a Huntsman?

Disclaimer: I am very new to SAK's and multitools in general. Heck, my first SAK is still in the post.
I get my info from here and the SAKWiki.

Now that makes more sense.  :D
Maybe we can narrow it down by getting a pic of the layers?

Edit: I've re-watched that scene, and I'm inclined to believe that it is a 4 layer knife, in which case, it is most likely to be a Huntsman, or one of its variations.
Try watching it yourselves and weigh in, I could easily be wrong. ;)

Im watching the episode now.   When i pause i think i can count 4 layers so it could be a huntsman.

If it was a camper there would only be a single layer after the saw, but it looks like more... so I vote huntsman, though its hard to tell.  D
