Sounds like you are looking for something different. How about a TOPS Hawkin Stick? They are almost out of print but still available on Amazon and here:

Keep in mind it is a cane first and an axe 2nd and you shouldn't be disappointed. Good for hikes on trails where there might be snakes, unruly dogs, etc. Good for trail blazing as well to prune unwanted limbs. It has a good weight, and good balance. I'm glad I got one.
PM me if you want one of my kidneys for your SOG TiNi multitool.
OK, both my kidneys.

All good suggestions. I have a PST l. So maybe that's a good idea. I have a ResQ me, KERT and Swiss Army Cheese knife. I think the Houdini is too big. And the walking stick is way too big

Leatherman Mini tool.
I have broken my own rule here.
I am getting a duplicate.
But this time a second hand model that may be exposed to some modification.

I'm about to do my first mod, it will be on the mini by adding a key in place of the file that broke, just an idea

How about a Jason Brous multitool. Or a small neck knife like the Fred Perrin Shark.
