Lanyard for SAK

I'm not sure what this is called.  Someone tough me it many decades ago.  Keep working in the same clockwise or counterclockwise direction.  I believe if you alternate directions you get a somewhat different pattern.

It's called a Sinnet knot. there's is a real easy, neat way to end it. Google "Stormdrane's Blog" and you can find it.

I didn't have a good way to end it.  This video shows a way to end it.  However, in the video his is running in the opposite direction from mine, so you would need a mirror image of this to use with my photos.  If you stop the video at about 4 min 56 sec, it shows the final knot.

TIAT has a great YT channel. Learned lots o'knots from it. I also like the way he acknowledges Stormdrane has a source of some of his videos.

I like it. It reminds me of the beer barrel stitch we used to make gimp lanyards in summer camp. From your pics it is an identical stitch.
