Right handed

Wrist watch (choice of three) on left wrist facing out, or pocket watch in right hand side waistcoat (gold plated Rotary) or jeans pocket (stainless Sekonda), or fob watch (A E Williams) clipped on belt loop on right hand side

Third leg not used for wearing a watch anymore due to hairs getting caught, and getting arrested for being asked the time at bus stops

Cool thread :D Actually, I haven't worn a watch for years... since I graduated in fact. No more studies, no more worries, no public transport chasing... lol. I always used to carry it on my left hand, outside, I'm right handed. As a kid mom taught me to wear it this way. Only now am I thinking about the logic behind that :D

Easier to fasten a watch with your dominant hand, and I think the watch is less likely to be scratched facing out - others may disagree

I wear my watch on my left wrist facing out,when i was a carpet fitter i wore my Gshock facing in as it got less knocks,not ascthat would of effected a G much  ;)

I'm right-handed, so I tend to do more things with my right hand and therefore have more chance of damaging anything on my right wrist, putting your watch on your non-dominant side means it is less likely to get damaged or snagged on something.

I'm right handed, always wear my watch on the left facing out. Just the way I was taught when I was younger, never really thought about it that much to be honest.

The 3rd leg option limits me to watches with a large, elasticated, expandable band. This is why I have been buying several larger G-shocks lately...

Right handed, so wear on left hand facing out,, it's how I was tought. If I was left handed then wear on right hand, because it's not you dominant hand and won't get scratched as much..
Now if you were ambidextrous then that's when you would wear it on the 3rd leg! lol

Yeah, I don't know if I believe the "opposite hand not to damage it" thing. I got a new watch Saturday, I knocked it on a door entering a shop on Sunday. :facepalm: I must admit I was still half asleep. Thankfully there is no damage, but I will try to be more careful in the future.

I'm right handed for most activities (baseball, most tool uses).  I'm left handed for writing and eating.  Don't wear a watch since the cell phone is common.  So I guess you can put me down for third leg without watch.  :D

When I did wear a watch it was left arm, inside.  Later it was a pocket watch or a pendant watch.

There was no option for 'Cybernetically incorporated into your wrist by the Borg', so I went for Right handed, left hand outside wear.

Right arm facing up on my wrist even though i'm a leftie.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I wear mine in my pocket. Or did til my pocket watch took a nice knock on a concrete floor. Tried the wrist watch thing for a while. That was a no go.

kinda sucks when you need to wind it, I'd think, especially when the crown catches the hairs and grips like a big bad boar. Would you make a really loud screeching noise and talk in a high pitch voice for the rest of the day?
