This is my carry when I know I'm going to be doing work. MUT has scissor/tweezer mod and dyed plastic thought of by other members. Also grinded the punch in to a mini screw driver. LOVE the MUT and don't think its shooter specific at all after some mini-mods.

Love your modded mutt.  How'd you get scissors on/in?  Thread?

PM me if you want one of my kidneys for your SOG TiNi multitool.

OK, both my kidneys.

Swisscard scissors fit perfectly in one of the long bit holders. http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,47599.0.html

If you leave the pocket clip on then the scissors need to go on the he side with the arm lock and require a little bit of wiggling to get out. Not a big deal though.

Carabeener can still be used to pop open beers when the scissors are on board.

No pic at the moment, but I suppose my favourite carry combo is my work combo. My outside-of-work carry isn't a constant set of items, as a knife collector I change that up almost every time out the door, and the choice is heavily based on style. For work it's based on function over style, and I stick with what works.

SOG Trident in right front pocket - I can remove from pocket, open, close, and put back in pocket all one handed, even with a heavy leather work glove on. I've been carrying this at work 5+ days a week for about 2 years now.

Leatherman Wave in belt sheath - pliers, cutters, knives, saw, files, drivers - all the utility I need. I just need to get a bit kit to go with it. I went through a couple no-name MTs, then carried a Juice S2 for a little while before recently stepping up to the Wave. There's no going back now!

Gerber Dime, Streamlight Nano and Infora TrueUtility FireStash on keychain.

My mut came in today.  Thanks.  How do you carry the long bit that vacated the slot for scissors?

Nice! MUTs are sweet. I don't carry the torx/hex bit...deemed the scissors to be more valuable.

Worth dying the plastic black too IMO

I got rid of a skeletool for the same reason I was hesitant about the mut, no scissors; but now I wonder if you couldn't park the same scissors on a skeletool.

Necro time. Modded Rebar and Crater. Love this set up because it is perfectly balanced with almost no redundancy and a wide range of options. This has taken some time to fully assemble but I couldn't be happier.

Pic from last week: switch plier and crosscut.

And the famous skeletool and style combo.

These are my weekend carries when I want something light but useful. I also don't need full sets outside of work

Current combo is Zilla-tool Jr. clipped to right pocket, and Squirt S4 in coin pocket.

I forgot to add the why.

Love the squirt, I use the scissors, nail file, nail cleaner, short drivers and tweezers all the time.  The Zilla Jr. complements it perfectly with pliers and a decent sized blade, and a mini philips driver which are all absent from the squirt.

The Zilla Jr. is small enough that I can get my hand in my pocket past it easily unlike most other pocket clip multi tools.  I have big hands.  I don't like having big lumps at the bottom of my pockets, and I don't like carrying tools on my belt or in my back pockets so this is what works for me.

Great combos kampfer, monrogue, and dbnyc. :2tu:

Harley: It took me a while to figure out what works and what doesn't. I've had this thread bookmarked for some time now. I love combos that balance each other. Little redundancy and ease of carry is key.

Both are good. It's also rare to see someone carry a zilla jr. That tool flies under the radar. I would've kept mine but the unorthodox bit driver is enough for me to pass on it. I like the big brother zilla because if I lose the bits they are easily replaceable. not so much with the jr. Still a good tool.

My Victorinox Spirit and Enlan EL-05.

Carrying a Spirit is self explanatory it can do near everything and it's awesome, but when I'm in need of a blade for real hard work and extended use I need a locking blade with steel that's harder than the top of a newborn's head. (no offense Victorinox) The EL-05 cuts well above its weight and price.

Thinking about picking up a Sanrenmu 7010 to compliment the Spirit for when I'm not working. Or something in all stainless to compliment the looks of the Spirit. I'm eventually going to get an all stainless EDC. Watch, pen, light, etc...
