no Offline Grathr

I found this in my back yard...

Yesterday the county came to measure my property, and while searching for a border marker with a metal detector, we found this axe head:




Its probably not older than 100years, proably newer.
Im going to put it vinegar and see if it will be possible to restore back into a usable axe.

I do worry that the 'eye' is going to be too badly corroded. :-\  Hope not though.

There is still wood in there, so I hope that the eye is still mostly intact.
