Adding a 4th pin in an Alox knife for back springs and some back side tools?

It doesn't look like it would be too difficult to use back springs that require 4 pins.  Perhaps embedding the pin in shallow c'bores in the scales, enabling the addition of some backside tools like a modified general purpose hook, awl or perhaps even a Phillips screwdriver if mounted in the middle layer and seated in two layers?

I made a simple cut away view of a three layer knife, with red representing the Alox scales:

Hmm... A three layer alox the thickness of a two layer celidor... And backtools to boot!

It's not necessary to sink the 4th pin into the scales as long as you use a liners with a hole for the 4th pin (instead of a notch).
