Zebralight SC62
on: June 18, 2015, 06:25:54 AM
I whipped out the old credit card yesterday and ordered the SC62.It will replace my Olight S10-L2 for EDC.I have not researched it completely but I bet there are very few 18650,1000Lm lights much smaller than the SC62.I think I'm going to like it if it ever gets here.Got the tracking number early yesterday and knowing the USPS I will start getting tracking updates about two days after I receive the light.

That really is a compact 18650, isn't it! :o  I strongly suspect I've got a 1xAA light that's bigger than that.

That light received good reviews at candle power forums.

It does look interesting.

I just got one of these in the mail yesterday; it's a truly amazing piece of light tech.  The beam profile, small size, and great pocket clip make it perfect for EDC.  (And yes, the SC62 is smaller than three AA lights I have!)  The only fault I can find is that the medium levels are a bit low, I wish at least M1 was higher.  This was my first 18650-only light, so I also picked up some Olight 3400 mAh 18650s and a Nitecore D4.  Both of these work excellently, so I'm very happy today!  :tu:
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

I have to agree about the low lumens in the mid level but I'm getting used to it and for EDC it is great. Most of my lights are 1000 lumen throwers so I had to get used to the floody beam pattern and realized I don't really need a long throw for pocket carry.

Medium, or at least m 2 should be adjustable? I just got an sc52, and the secondary brightness levels are fully customizable.

This is a great light.

Used it recently to do some caving in the Pacific Northwest on a road trip I took.(stopped in Yellowstone too!)

I painted the pocket clip so it's wasn't so shiny, blingy.

Love the size and user interface.

I have the warm version.

Love Zebralight.  I have several of their headlamps also.

The SC62W is high on my "must have" list for this year.  Please let us know how the light works out for you, once you've had the chance to put it through its paces :D

I may end up breaking down and ordering an SC62W today.  The jury's still out.
