Hurricane season is here.
on: June 18, 2015, 04:37:19 PM
In central Louisiana we often feel the effects of major hurricanes and with that comes the power outages that could and have lasted several days.To supplement my flashlights I purchased a Streamlight Siege and two UST 30 day lanterns.I have to give a big thumbs up to these lanterns. They use D batteries, several modes, and up to 300 Lm with long run times.I feel like I have the "lights out" problem covered.I also have a couple of wand type diffusers for my flashlights for walk around in the house and not stepping on the cat lights.

I must get a lantern. I've got plenty of flashlights and batteries, but it would be nice to have something that can provide 360 degree light.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

The last order I placed with Thrunite, I got the wand type diffusers free with the torch. Good products and good value  :tu:
