[CLOSED] Swap - Kent pattern axe head for SAK
on: June 29, 2015, 04:43:53 PM
I have a Kent Pattern axe head that I've cleaned up and would like to swap for a SAK - not sure what type, but as long as it's in a useable condition I'm happy - let me know what you have.

The axe head will need a sharpen, but I've been told it's a good make (Oxford Hatchet No2)

Summers day Bump - This axe head may well have some history to it. It looks like the sort of axe head that would have performed amazing feats of tree felling, possibly one of a pair used by a champion Viking lumberjack. Possibly.

Get it while you can.

Hum... Don't know... The handle looks too short...

My guess is that a committed lumberjack actually attaches the axe head to their arm and doesn't hold any truck with handles. Handles are for amateurs.

4 seasons, began in 1977(?!). The plot was amazing, all the characters too. Man, now I have to go look for it somewhere...

Yup, Mary Campbell's husband. I still recall a scene where he enters a room that had a hole in the ground, covered by a carpet. He stood in the middle and slowly started to fall through the hole, like in quicksand, while looking around puzzled...

Weekend bump to get this back on the rails.

This axe head looks like it may have been used by the Hessian 'Headless Horseman' of Sleepy Hollow fame. I'm not saying categorically it is, but it could be.

It also looks suspiciously like the one a fellow named Jack used to chop down a certain beanstalk...

I know right?

I've often thought it looks quite presidential too. There looks to be some kind of cherry stain on it......................
