Greetings from Germany
on: July 02, 2015, 02:21:37 PM
Good day everyone,

Windson here, on the perpetual search for the "perfect" multitool...

I design and manufacture **low-tech and miniature tools** with the objective of providing or enhancing "that, which can't be improvised" in *low-probability, high-impact scenarios* where it is most needed, yet usually unavailable or non-permissive.

I'm working, besides the ever-evolving kits with new ideas, tools, and materials on some non-metallic self-defense items; mostly OSS-inspired but with modernized carrying and hiding capabilities focus on urban environments. Lots of exploration with current tech and local hackers.

welcome mate
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Welcome  now the perfect multitool  its a long rode  :D

My first multitool was a Vic Champ when I was 8 years old or so. My son has it now. Later I worked through Gerbers, moved to Leathermans big, later small, then one piece tools, but they never really got me, and these days I am finding the Alox Minichamp (in conjunction with a separate folder) to be my most-used tool.

So there is space in several directions; I also experimented with a paperclip, after joking about MacGyver, but it turned out to be much more versatile because often, it's just that, a piece of wire or something pointy, that you really need.
