SwissBucks my Collection
on: July 04, 2015, 06:48:14 AM
This is my latest quest. After pretty much completing my BuckTool collection I decided to look for some other type of Buck Knife to collect. The SwissBuck came to me as a viable solution. This is my collection so far.
SwissBuck was a collaboration between Buck and Wenger. It started in 1993 when Buck started selling the SwissBuck series because of customer demand. Customers were looking for a combo knife and tool set up, SwissBuck was the answer Buck came up with. Basically the SwissBuck is a Wenger knife with black matte finished scales and a Buck emblem. The other difference is the main knife blade is a Clip Point blade on some models, where Wenger has a Spear Point as the main blade.
The SwissBuck line was short lived and only lasted 4 years from 1993 to 1997 and was then discontinued.
Most of you SAK guys will recognize all these models however I will post pictures of all the models I have collected so far.

The SwissBuck Legend
The Legend is the only SwissBuck that came in black and white colors.
The  SwissBuck Legend had a pen blade, scissors, nail file, toothpick and tweezers.
Closed length 2 7/16" or 58mm

SwissBuck Delemont is slightly larger than the Legend
The Delemont has a main pen blade, a nail file, and scissors toothpick and tweezers.
Closed length 2 3/4" or 65mm

More to come soon.

The Attache/Pocket Tool Chest looks great

The only one I have (not mentioned yet) is the Sidekick, the Swissbuck version of the Traveller

Perhaps my inches to mm conversion is off. The Attache was one of the more difficult models to locate. This one is slightly used. According to my data sheet these were made  in 1996 and 1997 and only 5000 were produced.

Great collection Longbow  :tu:

I've been wanting to get the swissbucks too, but they are now fetching high prices.

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Thanks tosh
I have been collecting these for awhile. I to have noticed an increase in what they sell for. I am some what of a bargain hunter so most I got for a good price. I had one last model I have been searching for and finally have one on the way. I noticed when some one starts a thread like this the competition becomes more intense on the selling sites so I waited  till I had all I needed.

Got the Greenskeeper? It is usually the hardest to find along with some of those larger models.

Yes stressmaster that is the SwissBuck not listed yet. I won a used Greensmaster on the bay this week. When it arrives I will post pictures.
One more project left to do is build a display case. I have seen pictures of the display cases in Buck catalogs , if I can't find one I intend on building one.

Well this wraps up my SwissBuck collection. I will update this when I get a display case for these.
This is the final SwissBuck I needed for my collection the Greensmaster aka Golfer. This tool was the most difficult to find but my perseverance payed off last week an I won it on Ebay.

SwissBuck Greensmaster aka Golfer.
This is the only SwissBuck that does not have a clip point knife blade it is the standard Wenger spear point.
Spear point knife, nail file, divot replacer, cleat removing tool, screwdriver bottle opener, can opener Phillips screwdriver, tooth pick, tweezers, key chain
closed length 3 1/4
