Dog, cat and I went camping

So after I finished my cigar, I decided to say screw it and cancelled all the stuff that needed done and went camping. Besides, it was birthday anyways. Well the day before but I had to work and get a few things done. Anyways, some pics for ya...

Just some pics of the animals walking through the field.

A few more the cat and dog with my pack.

Here is my homemade hammock and silnylon tarp that I made. I was kinda running out of day light so I couldn't get some pics of me setting it up.

Next was making fire and the Mora 2000 that Gaute gifted me made light work of feather sticks. Thanks again Gaute!

Next most important thing that had to be done was making some coffee.

Just watching the fire burn for awhile before I turned in.

Next morning...

Cooking some chow...

Sadly I had to leave the the woods, I had a great time and got a chance to reset.

Thanks and thanks again for the Mora. It is a keeper for sure. The Bushcraft Black is still my #1, but the Mora 2000 is not very far behind it. just barely behind it in fact. I think i am gonna use it for go to hunting knife. Has a great feel in the hand. No hot spots at all.

Sadly, I have not seen the shop toad for a couple of weeks. Hope nothing hasn't happened to it.

Its the only cat I have seen that will walk with me when I go on a walk or a quick camping trip. Long walks or camping trips I have to leave him home because he can't keep up and end up having to carry him.

Yep, there my cat and dog. The dog is Hercules and the cat Jasper.
I just call them Herc and Jas for short. Jas has about a good mile, mile and half in him if you take short breaks to let him catch up. He damn nears has to run to keep up with Herc and I. Cats and there short stubby legs lol!

Tenants of mine used to have a cat that would follow them when they walked the dog around the block. It was the greatest thing I'd ever seen! I love cats like that!

I also think I need to say "screw it, I'm going camping" very soon. It looks like such a good time!
