MP-600 parts
on: July 12, 2015, 05:42:35 PM
This is a shot in the dark, but there are several MP-600 tools I would like, to complete my set.

AWL
Long Phillips (as found in the MP600ST), preferably in BO
Diamond File (as found in the Fisherman)

I'm also interested in a MP-600 Fisherman

Thanks folks

I have none of those tools as spares, but maybe this helps: The Awl and diamond file both come in the (rather uncommon) "Scout".
I do have an unused MP600ST in BO I am looking to trade or sell, though.

Thanks, the MP600 Fisherman also seems to have them both... but before I start to buy tools, of which I only need parts I try to find the parts... I know its a long shot, but you never know.

Should I decide that the tools are worth to go the extra mile, you will get a PM somewhere in the future to see if we can find a common ground for a trade :D

Inspirational bump of the day:

I find it AWLful that I can't get the parts... or would that be AWLless

I´ll give you a free bump by saying somebody should have a look at the available gerber implements and try out which one can be transformed into an Awl.

AWL - it is pretty small.
Long Phillips (as found in the MP600ST), preferably in BO - requires cutout in handle to fit in, ST comes with long scraper/awl.
Diamond File (as found in the Fisherman) - wears quickly, has annoying hook groove and nail nick cutout.

I'm also interested in a MP-600 Fisherman - I wouldn't mind trying one of these.

Long Phillips: not if you plan on putting it in the MultiLite :D

But I get your point, I should not pursuit this as it only pretends to be a shmoo but it's not.
