The only thing I won was a falsetto voice for a short time period...that is, once I was able to vocalize anything.

You know, there was a time when a singing voice like that was highly valuated

Hmmm.

The only flicking accident I have ever had was a somewhat memorable event for me. When I first got a Gerber Recoil, I got the bright idea to front pocket carry it for a few days to see how that might work for my EDC. Now the Recoil is unique in that the plier head is heavily spring loaded. You press a button on the handles and the pliers come out with surprising force and speed. Yeah, well this one day, i bent to pick something up and accidentally body pressed the button, which somehow swung into the "unleash the power of God" unlocked zone. Needless to say, I spent a few minutes on the floor as the Recoil shot the pliers head into one of my testicles. I was literally poleaxed. I will never ever make that mistake again...EVER!

I can laugh at it now though...just sometimes, life lessons come heavy and hard.
ohhh, that's about as bad as poison ivy on the testicles.............. Long story short, hurt and itched like a crazy S.O.B for days

When I saw Leatherman's demo video of the OHT, I wondered why Gerber guys always do it the other way.

Holding the MT vertically, then pressing in on the buttons and letting gravity pull the handles down is much more reliable and less accident-prone than holding the handle(s) and trying to fling the pliers out. To close it one-handed, just hold the MT upside down by one's side and do it the reverse of opening.

Just sayin...

I broke the handle off my pint mug with an Ontario RAT-1.

The mug was a gift and I can't replace it.
