[CLOSED] In Memory of Kit Carson #2

As we already said in the first CRKT M16 giveaway, CRKT and MTO are giving tribute to the knife designer great, Kit Carson, who passed away last year.

You can read more about him, and see a few other versions of the legendary M16 and M21 series of knives at CRKT's website under Kit Carson's name.

You can win another one of the special M16-13Z SS, Combo edged with "Tribute to Kit Carson 2015" etched on blade now.

As all of the MTO hosted giveaways, this one is open worldwide, and you don't even have to have a minimum post count.

All you have to do is tell us where and how you're going to spend your summer holidays and enjoy life.

Pictures of your destinations or free time activities are always welcome and earn you special brownie points.

I'll read through the thread and make a list of everybody who entered properly, randomize it and draw the winner in one weeks time.

This one is open till Thursday, the 23th of July, and will close at 20.00h CET (Central European Time - server offset time)

We're going to be going to stay at a cottage for a few nights in a couple of weeks. We've already had our main vacation.

My summer vacation has me at a nice cottage on a remote lake fishing for Trout and relaxing in a hammock during the day. Nights will be spent by the fire drinking fine beverages with friends and family.

Can't wait...

This summer were planning to camp at least a few times up at the river and get the ski boat out to tow some tubes and boards with family and friends.

My summer? I go camping once with my family, other than that, my life is work, sleep, multitool.. Ha

I'd do more, but none of my friends are around since we graduated HS, and solo camping is okay, but not my cup of tea.

We have two long weekends of camping planned at Provincial Parks. We are lucky to live close to a very nice beach on the river. We can get some swimming in after work most nights.

We can't afford to stay over night anywhere but when we get a chance, take day trips to Gainesville, stopping at the produce stands along the way and maybe eating at a restaurant once we arrive. It's a great way to acquire fresh vegetables

Nowhere. Money went to the baby fund. Just some days in the mountains Geocaching and a few days at the swimming ppol.

My vacation will be in November when I'll stick with my little baby girl.

Well, we never really go on proper holidays these days (the thought of wrangling 3 little kids at an exotic destination just doesn't sound relaxing to me or the missus). But the closest I will get this summer is my trip to Alabama to visit with family.

Hopefully in the next few years we will cash in on our dream trip to Australia. Or Namibia. Or Northern Europe. Lol

No real vacation for Sweety and me this year. But we will have some celebrations with my family (60th birthday of my father and his friend, 60th wedding anniversary of my grandparents), so we will be spending some time with them.

And we have a day trip to the High Fen planned with friends. We will have a guided tour through the nature reservation, so this is our 1-day-vacation

As for vacation.....

I'm typing this on my phone laying down in our old touring caravan. Nowhere exotic, just Mablethorpe, but it's a break from the daily grind of homelife. We'll hopefully be having another week away (caravan again) later in the year.
Can't really afford nor justify going abroad these days - the holiday company's treble the price during school hols' and being a Yorkshireman I refuse to pay!

Yes, I know it's the M16.....I was just making a reference to the model that always springs to mind whenever I think of CRKT. I never did get round to buying the Tanto KISS version, so naturally it's the first model I always think of first
