Just keep it charging and when people ask, just say it's a self-pleasuring electrical appliance...

To be honest, I didn't use the i7R much, but with the S10R, I just put it on the charger, that's all.

So, you've got your charger always plugged in the PC?
Yes, basically... well its not directly on the PC its on a separate hub with its own power, where also all the external drives, the printer and charging plugs for everything else (mobile phone, mp3 player, ebook reader) etc are connected.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I see :D Well. Now I have a weird idea which I probably shouldn't try, because I can't read... math & physics stuff.

I can't connect the charger to my phone charger plug and charge it from the electrical socket in the wall? (220V). Right? :D

Just a though :D As I said previously, this looks like a huge piece of Lego to me :D

If your phone has USB type output (mini etc.)    it should work.
Otherwise it get complicated, for a young lady.

Yes, you can. Thanks to a brilliant EU law, everything can be charged with the same charger :tu:

The head really gets hot quickly, btw. But since they say it can stay on for 25 minutes this way, it should be okay, I guess?

Also, what about all the stuff I've read about liIon batteries that they shouldn't be discharged in full or charged in full in order for them not to ... blow off or whatever they do? :D

I'll be spamming here for quite a while :D

I tried to use the battery a bit, it worked twice for about 10mins each time on high... within half an hour.

I put the light to charge. And it almost immediately got green. Shouldn't it have charged some more?

At one point it was also giving me red-green-red-green-red-green blinks.

Ok, I'll guess I'll leave it from 8pm till 8.30 pm on high and then see what happens.

Well, alright, I decided to play with it after ten minutes, so it died and couldn't go on again :D

Let's see how much it'll take it to charge now.

you worry too much....
there is a lithium ion battery in your phone too

do you worry about that too?
any battery may explode or catch fire....

if you do not charge the battery in a perfect way it may last a bit less... so what? there are more important things to worry about.

I have been using old laptop Lithiums for years and they are still fine..

you have a good battery, a good light and a good charger... they all have safety systems build in....

ignore the internet and have fun

Lool, thanks. I just want to keep the toys in perfect condition  :gimme:

Btw, .... lemme worry some more :D Now it's charging, but the light on the dock is blinking red, green, red, green, red, green.... is it charging properly

I guess we'll see :D

Why. They're useless. Who reads them   :D

Anyway, I guess that's the way it's charging. It always starts out in constant red and after a few seconds it starts blinking. But the light does go on, so I guess that's just the... medium stage of charging until it gets to constant green.

I'm not THAT stupid :twak: :D :D

And, FYI, I did read the manual, but it's useless like most manuals :D It says it lights up when the light's charging and turns green when it's fully charged :D

Having in mind that other charger I have for my Sipik thing also blinks while charging, it's probably what it does :D

Not an expert on this, but I highly believe LiIon blowup rate to be highly overinflated. Never had any issues with them.
LiPo on the other part...

And yes a friend of mine got a bunch of LiPos for his drone and let them charge overnight.... they all popped...

I think that is exactly right.

Don't worry about Li-ion batteries like in your flashlight, there is NO danger...
Its Li-polymer that can explode but even that is exceedingly rare!

Okay, so the mystery continues :D Apparently I hadn't charged it properly yesterday in that.. blinking state. Today I turned it on high twice and after about ten minutes it died totally both times. So I've been charging it for about 1.5hrs now and while charging it has a CONSTANT red light on, no blinking. Probably I hadn't put it properly on the charger yesterday although I was sure I did

But no, it hasn't exploded yet :D :D :D

 :twak:

That's why they should give life-time warranty, not just 5-year warranty :D :D :D :D :D

I think so far it's been one of the most functional AAAs I've had  Soooo convenient on the neck, just pull it it's on, then just approach the cap and it sticks to it, you don't even need to be precise in clipping it to the cap.

I think the warranty is made for the learning period, after that nothing will go wrong anymore >:D

Olight has found a unique way to carry this flashlight and I think it's brilliant for people who use it a lot. :tu:

NNR I love the way you are thinking

The neat thing about the safety built into the charger from what I've seen is, if you have a alkaline cell in the light and put it on the charger..............

BOOM

Kidding.  Nothing it wont do anything which is a nice feature.

In reading those flashlight forums I see how Li cells can be scary.  I do believe some care needs to be taken when using them but random

BOOM

I'm not entirely sure.  This light and charger is pretty intelligent so not much worry there.  I do like how it can be worn which gives you one more light easily carried.

Yeah, I usually have one AAA with a clip clipped to my neckline at almost all times to have quick and easy access to ti. This one will be less conspicuous as it'll be just hanging on my neck hidden by whatever I'm wearing. So I'm used to carrying lights near my neck, lol. Hopefully they won't explode and I'll get to keep my head a while longer :D
