Finally got a JRP Toucan on Ebay. Are these better than the Boker version?

I was bidding on one on Ebay but it was not my preferred model. I want the one with the pointed blade and was bidding on the sheep's foot version. I was outbid but found the version I wanted with the buy now option. Shipping was ridiculous, but I finally got it! Super excited!
For one reason or another, I really wanted a JRP branded version and not the boker. Is there a difference in quality between the 2?

I have a Boker version and I'm very impressed with it. Got pictures?

See attached. I mean, part of me feels like you can't really go wrong. Then again, I know very little about steel types.

I like that blade shape better than the Boker. JRP has various blade configurations for the Toucan.  The Boker is sort of a modified Wharncliffe.

Yeah, I would like the square blade version, can't seem to find it anywhere. Also, is JRP site still actively taking orders? I never get a response back from him.
