Victorinox 125th aniversary knives

Victorinox 125th aniversary knives

I just noticed how some of the classics from this series (pics below) some are serialized xx/1884 and others are not...
Is it because those come in the special gift box? Are those limited to 1884 copies? Any help would be appreciated. :D

I know the CTs got a serial number and Climbers did not.

I've asked Victorinox company for the same question (why some Classics 125 are marked with serial number) in the past. So, I'll quote their responce:
