Here are some pics of the next CRKT out. The journeyer. (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Its another Liong Mah design, and has a similar bladeshape, but thinner, and the same "slipjoint: mechanism as the Liong Mah #6. In addition it has a pin/torque driver that can be inserted into a hole through the handle and blade to lock it. Im looking forward to see how useful that really is. picture uploader My CRKT Incendor. This is my only CRKT knife. The other two I have are multitools. Was impressed with the size and build quality of this knife. Was not built to be "light and thin", but to last!
Next CRKT out is the Ritter RSK MK5(Image removed from quote.)I havent EDC'd a fixed blade since I was in the army. But the MK5 is so small it fits nicely in my pocket. The question is will the advantages of a fixed blade outweigh the disadvantages of the very short edge compared to a folder? Sent from a device made from star dust using tapatalk

Its pretty small though.
Ill start out with the Liong Mah #6(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)The blade is 2,77inches long and is a CE blade. CRKT call it a slipjoint, even though there is no back spring. It looks like it locks the blade with two springs in the liners that push two small pins(?) into indentations in the blade. The finger coil prevents the blade from closing on your fingers. The handle is G10 and has a deep pocket carry clip. I can actually blame Kirk for getting this one. He posted Hennies sale on it, and I jumped on it First impressions: It has a very thick blade for a folder (4mm) and is quite heavy. It came razor sharp out of the box. No blade play, and the mechanism is very smooth. I keep opening and closing it while typing this. Sent from a device made from star dust using tapatalk
Nice one I have the #5 which is the plain edged version I also have a Snaplock, a McGinnis Tuition, an Edgie, and the recently won Kit Carson Tribute M16Z. That might not sound like many, but that's more clipped OHO folders than I own by any other knife company.I'll not be comitting to specific carry for a month, that's not my style, but I'll be reading this thread with interest

CRKT Squid has been my everyday locking folder for a bit. Best <$20 knife I have.(Image removed from quote.)
BTW the knife posted above is also the Squid. I'm looking at the RSK MK6 quite seriously, bigger than the MK5 and better steel (8cr13 vs 2cr) Anyone have one?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
