(How) can I unsubscribe from threads?

Is it possible to unsubscribe or manage threads we want to look at and others we don't want to look at? Or do we just have to ignore stuff in the ever increasing lists of Show new replies to your posts, etc.?

I just ignore what doesn't appeal to me...

Easiest way is look at what you want to look at, then click the mark posts as read button. This wipes off everything you're not fussed about, and you start again. Those threads you ignored will pop up again, but at least it's a shorter list to sift through next time

Profile/Modify Profile/Notifications/Current Topic Notifications - select tick box of the unwanted thread - unnotify.

I am not getting notifications, I meant the list of threads that shows up in "Show new replies to your posts." There doesn't seem to be any way to "unsubscribe" or opt out of that. I don't think I have been on an EzPortal forum before so I'm just not used to the way stuff works here. Seems like everybody is using PHPBB or other forum software.

No biggie but when stuff gets contentious or boring I don't go back to the thread but anytime somebody posts in it the thread shows up in that list again.
