Sorry for your troubles Captain, but this was the funniest thread title/post I read in ages...
I have to send it back as it is defective. Review over. Seriously though it is defective and is going back for a replacement. When you have it in high mode and place it on the table to tail stand it switches down to low mode for some reason. Something is wrong with the internal components I assume. I will do a actual review down the road.

Lol. Still. WHY FourSevens don't look into dealing with their lights. A few years ago I'd seen sooo many bad reviews on the Preon 2 and I still went and bought one. Used it a lot, sometimes it was really an unreliable light, until after 6 months it stopped working at all. So I sold it to some guy for spare parts or fun. It was my favourite light. Almost the same happened with the Olight O'Pen, which is kinda the same. It was flicker-y and unreliable. They're such awesome lights and yet WHY don't they do something about them.
