Off to Yosemite, back in a few days
on: August 15, 2015, 05:19:54 PM
My family,  my in laws,  and my wife's sister's family are headed up to Yosemite for the  next few days.  There will be ten of us total,  and four under the age of five. Two under one! Lord help us.

It'll be fun. I'm the only one in the group who has been there, and will most likely be doing stuff geared toward my boy and older nephew,  who are both four. I hope to get at least one good hike in ☺

Obligatory MT content, I'm only bringing a Camper and a Mora 511. Doubt I'll need them much, as we're staying in a cabin in Wawona. Still, I'm sure I'll play with them a bit. See y'all soon!

Got back yesterday, still need to get the photos uploaded. Stayed outside the Valley, in a cabin in Wawona. In the park, but not the main part. Unfortunately, I got outvoted about going into the Valley,  on account of twisty,  windy roads,  and four small children and a couple adults with car sickness. I'll make it back with just my boy so I don't have to worry about eight other opinions ☺

We made it up to Glacier Point,  went on the Sugarpine train tour,  and a couple small hikes, but really spent the majority of the time entertaining the kids and going in the spa. Saw a family of deer in the middle of the tract. It was nice to get away days for a few days, but brought along too many people. My wife agrees lol.

Still sounds good mate.  Though I agree that holidays where your (and your wife's) opinion is not the final one can be a little stressful.
