Elinox Technicians Tinker
on: August 16, 2015, 06:13:44 PM
Hopefully the name captured it reasonably well.

Its a Tinker with the small blade substituted for the old technicians screwdriver.

Nice old toolset not a half stop in sight, solid awl, square shape back Phillips without can key, sharpened caplifter tool and a sheepsfoot Elinox blade.

Thin white G10 scales. I may laminate these with another layer of G10 later but for now I am quite happy with it.

Nice work! :tu:

Looks like a nice, slim daily carry knife to me.

Love that.  The Technician driver should be put back into production.

I'm guessing the blade had been detipped? Excellent reprofile, either way. That is a very pretty configuration

The sheepsfoot was there when I bought it. So like you I reckon it was a bent/damaged tip repair job.

The knife was an Elinox automobile but the scales were long gone and the liners were horrible. It had the newer economy nylon scales on it. Without the St Chris Scales and the knife tip it really wasn't an automobile anymore.
