A Quick Brew.
on: August 23, 2015, 11:26:24 AM
My ride was running late this afternoon so I waited in the garage.

With no plan in mind I fastened down the Brewzer and picked up the grinder.

Will have to get some beers tomorrow and test it out.

You took out a nice chunk. I'm guessing you didn't need the other part

I never really liked the original shape. I've just removed the chain as well. Now it blends in with the keys.

Could you also try the tip on a paint tin please.

Visually you have transformed what I have always considered to be an ugly duckling.

Fortunately I have a knock-off Brewzer to play with ...

Nice mod Z, really good idea!  :tu: I have a recently acquired LM6, but it's a little clunky on a keyring. Seeing this, I might get brave enough to mod it.  :)

Always inspired by by your work Z but this time reminded that I had somewhere a possibly knock-off OPT with a pointy tip just like your "mini-Brewzer".   Looked it out and noticed that the opener faces were approximately 10mm.   Of no real interest as there is 10mm in the closed wrenches but 11mm would suit F Type connectors quite a common household task.   The cap lug was long enough.

A quick file only.  A nearly perfect F Type wrench and it still opens bottles.

Haha, I just found one as well.   So much for being original.  :P  I wouldn't mind an F type wrench.

Finally got around to thinning the rounded point down a little more to a better screwdriver or prying end.
