Ajo -- In Rememberance...
on:
August 27, 2015, 04:01:55 PM
Good morning everyone,
Unfortunately I do not have good news for this post. This weekend, Ajo (scattergun13's old police partner) will be put down. I can only imagine how difficult this is going to be on Stew.
When I first met Stew 6 years ago he was a K9 officer. Ajo was with him everywhere he went. Quite honestly, Ajo was big, beautiful and scary!! When I bought my miniature schnauzer I brought him to Stew's office to play with Ajo. My puppy was honestly so small that Ajo barely even noticed he was in the room. lol! I got the opportunity to wear one of the training arms (not sure what they are called) and got to experience Ajo in action. Let me tell you...it's quite frightening to have a dog of that size at that velocity coming at you full speed ready to attack. It was a beautiful and awe inspiring experience.
He will be greatly missed. Stew is losing a son and the world is losing a great officer.
This is for you, Ajo. Thank you for your devoted service, for protecting our world from bad guys and for always keeping my Stew safe.

Sorry to hear that... hope Stew got a chance to spend some time with him and Ajo could enjoy his retirement.

Ajo, you shall not be forgotten, but will live on in the memories of those you served with, and protected without hesitation.
Stew, brother, I am so very sorry.

So sorry Stew.
The only help I can give is to suggest you try to remember all the good times you and Ajo had together.

I've been down that road more times than I'd like. It's about the worst feeling I've ever had.
I'm truly sorry to hear this. You aren't alone Stew. You have lots of friends here to talk to if you need to.

This is a very sad bit of news, but we must try to remember the great bond that the Stew and Ajo shared.
These losses are tough because the times were great, so the greater the friendship, the harder the loss.
Stew, Ajo will be missed, and if you need anything, please let me know.
If I can help, let me know

Update::::
Hey everyone, yesterday morning Ajo left us for good. The entire town is talking about this sad day. I work 30 minutes away from the city that Stew and Ajo lived. I spoke with the mail man at my office this morning and he said he saw Ajo's photo on Facebook. It's as if the entire state is mourning his loss.
I saw Stew last night and he was not doing very well, as expected. I will be seeing him again tonight. He has has a very stressful year, as some of you know the details as to why. He will continue to lay low and not sign on here for a while. If you would like for me to pass a message along to him, please let me know and I will happily do it.
Thank you for all of the kind words and condolences. They are greatly appreciated...

Still in my thoughts, I shot him a text when I heard and it seems like it's been a really rough year.
Wish there was more we can do, if there is anything he needs, let us know.
