SAK in Sliders

Back in 1998, must have been a SAK fan who wrote Sliders, Season 4, Episode 12, "The Dying Fields." A SAK shows up in the first few minutes and is discovered in a pack Colin finds. Colin is from an earth which is technologically no more advanced than mid to late 19th century America. Skip forward to around 3:20

Colin says, "This strange knife . . . this is truly inspired. Look at all this stuff. A knife blade, a saw, a screwdriver."

And then he pulls out the toothpick, and asks, "What's this?"

Rembrandt, one of the other sliders replies, "You never use it."

I had to laugh. 

It then shows up several times later in the episode. For instance, after using it to escape at one point, Colin proclaims, "This is really an ingenious little tool." (around 23:00)

Haha, I wonder if he'd of figured out a use for the Multi Purpose Hook!!
