Temporary removal of the Wave's blade locks - possible?
on: September 01, 2015, 09:03:07 AM
It occurred to me that for the Wave to be legal to carry, without a good reason (e.g. UK law), it would have to have non locking blades. Is it possible to temporarily remove the locking leaf springs from the tool and still allow them to be reattached later?
Are they bolted, pinned, welded or part of the stamping?

Tom.

The blade liner locks are part of the handle. Removing them is a one way ticket. However you don't need to remove them to stop them working. They can be bent inwards and they won't engage. If needed at a later point just bend them back out into place.
