Man, I loved SD back in the day and I'd always thought what great potential it would have had as a cult classic if only it was done properly. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

I'm pleased with the casting.

Question; Johnny Alpha vs Boba Fett.

My creds are on Johnny.

As long as one of those guys is Middenface McNulty I'll be a happy Scotsman. :D

I think the two 'norm' faced SD's are going to have prosthetic masks so one of them may well be Middenface (what a great name!) See the far left of this pic - looks a bit McNulty to me..... https://www.flickr.com/photos/133295459@N05/19866241329/in/album-72157652353785663/

There is a pic of a 'lumpy head' on the facebook page that can be accessed from the main site. It's looking good for the Shytehill contingent!

Looks like we're definitely getting McNulty. :woohoo:  Now all we need to make sure is that his Scottish accent is totally incomprehensible to everyone else.  :D

Johnny would smash Boba Fett. Absolutely smash him. Just look at Johnny's gun.

And he had access to some serious future-tech weaponry; I mean c'mon, he had time grenades. What did Fett have other than a faulty jetpack?

McNulty has got to be in there somewhere, it wouldn't be SD without him.

I could never decide whether I'd go for Dredds Lawgiver or Johnnies pistol. Prolly the Lawgiver because it's more compact. I'd definitely go for a couple of those time grenades!
There's talk of a Rogue Trooper film too. I'm a bit more confident about the comic based films after the last Dredd effort.

I had to pop in to the library yesterday and guess what was just sitting out waiting for me to borrow it?  The Aengcy Files 2.  8)  With Johnny Alpha's backstory in the Mutant Wars it has to be my favourite SD strip.  I must have spent days pouring over every single panel. :dd:

The lawgiver is fine and all, but I'd have Johnnies "thwup guns" any day of the week.  Rogue Trooper's "Gunner" would be pretty cool as well. :D

Although Johnnies Thwup guns look cool, they are pretty unwieldy with all that barrel - I like Rogues rifle too, but would feel a bit guilty keeping Gunnars chip in there any longer than necessary. It's the Lawgiver all the way for me. Or maybe Rick Deckards pistol......

I agree lister - they are always a disappointment. This one is fan made though and only 20 minutes long. Quite entertaining to see my fave mutant on screen.

I am not against this one in particular but the latest Hollywood offerings are smurf! I liked Watchmen ( and sin city, though it is not a superhero movie) but the rest are just... Ok, enough ranting.  ::)
