Ultra Rare Wenger Book up for grabs
on: September 03, 2015, 11:51:00 PM
Mods please move if necessary.

I've already listed this in the trade section.

But, this is such a rare item, I've never seen one ever before on ebay.

Wengers ultra rare book "A Fervour Over Knives"

Chances are you'll never get another chance. I know from speaking with Wenger that many copies were given away as gifts and I also know that shortly before Wenger ceased they still had 20 copies locked away in their vaults. I tried to buy one but they simply wouldn't entertain the idea.

Without doubt a a future collectors piece.

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Only 500 copies were ever produced in English.
Got mine off amazon 2yrs ago, paid a kings ransom, then shipping tracked door to door and finally UK import duty rounded it off to a very nice number!  $$$  :ahhh:

The german version of the book is not that rare.
The same seller posted for sale few copies in the past on ebay.ch, and I also saw it listed somewhere else.
In fact, I think that I bought my copy of the book (in german) from the same seller some time ago.
The price was much lower then (I think I paid around € 60).

Speaking of the book itself, it was a major disappointment for me.
I think that there are only 20-25 pages interesting.
All the rest is just general information on the history of the swiss army knives, most like the red book from Victorinox.
Just my opinion.
