I found this at the local Canadian Tire. It is a set of 3 LED flashlights that come in a nice presentation box.
Here is the top of the box showing some of the data of each flashlight.
Taking the lid off, we are presented with...
Taking the corner advertising piece, we are presented with 3 LED flashlights and Duracell batteries.
The largest flashlight is rated at 1000 lumens. It takes 3 D-Cells for power. It features a high, medium, and low power beam feature along with 2 strobe modes, one flashing the S.O.S signal of 3 dots, 3 dashes, and 3 dots repeatedly.
http://www.feit.com/documents/pdf/72336_SpecSheet.pdfThe second largest flashlight is rated at 500 lumens. It takes 3 C-Cells for power. It features a high and low power beam, along with two strobe features, one being the S.O.S pattern.
http://www.feit.com/documents/pdf/72328_FL_SPECSHEET.pdfThe smallest flashlight is rated at 250 lumens. It takes 3 AAA batteries for power. It features a high and low power beam, and only one strobe. This flashlight does not feature the S.O.S strobe pattern.
http://www.feit.com/documents/pdf/72331_FL_SPECSHEET.pdfAll 3 features similar construction and mostly similar features. The zoom head gives a nice very wide pattern. Move the head in to focus the beam to a pinpoint. However, because these flashlights have 4 LEDs, the focused pattern becomes very squarish at full zoom. The beam pattern does become a circle after zooming out a little however. The most powerful flashlight, when fully zoomed, allows you to see the 4 LEDs very distinctly. In other words, fully zoomed in, you get a window like grid pattern. This does disappear once you zoom out a little.
Construction is very nice with aircraft grade aluminum. The battery compartment does come with a rubber O ring to make these flashlights weather resistant.
I like these flashlights very much. For a little over 50 Canadian, there is a lot of value inherent in this set.
Some bonus photos.
