Smallest and Largest Lights (Same Brand)
on: September 08, 2015, 05:03:32 AM
Thought this might be a fun topic. Grab any two lights of the same brand, that you've got (one of the smallest; one of the largest), and snap a shot of them :-)

Top - Maglite 6D (with Terralux TLE-310MR-EX, 3-emitter) - approx. 650 OTF lumens
Bottom - Maglite Mini Mag 2A (with its pitiful stock incandescent bulb, providing a whopping (and quickly-dimming) 15 lumens of donut-hole-shaped light.

I need to upgrade this one :|

I hate to derail....but I have to ask.....what's your favorite light when it comes to a power/weight ratio?

Probably my Nitecore EA11 - 900 ANSI lumens, on max (albeit short term), running on a 14500 IMR battery. I think the interface is genius.

Thanks for the kind words!

No problem bud!

Sounds like my next purchase!

Currently my only next level light is a Nitecore EA41 and I love it but it sure does eat some AA's

Oh, I hear that. I have the previous version  EA4, and I use Duracell NiMhs in that one (2600 mAh, if I recall correctly). It's a wonderful hand-held spotlight!

Nice idea.  I don't have many big lights but I'll take a few snaps. :)
