As the title says, I'm in the market for an old Kelty baby hiking bag, such as the original Kelty Pathfinder or the K.I.D.S. Trek/Elite. I am open to similar alternatives to these bags, as long as they meet these qualifications:
1. Must have space for various baby supplies (diapers, wipes, bottles, toys, clothes etc.) Does not need room for other gear, but can be a plus.
2. Must have hip strap. Not really picky on the type but I need to be able to get the bags weight off of my shoulders.
3. Adjustable, for both adult and baby. I will be the primary baby mule, but not the only one, so the pack needs to be adjustable. Ease and speed of adjustment are not an issue, as long as it can be done in the field, after marking adjustment positions on straps
4. Needs a stand, so that baby can be safely be left on the ground in the bag, such as in restaurants, or between mule swappings.
5. Price. Needs to cost less than or around $80, shipping included.
6. This one im not sure of. Would prefer a sun/rainshade on the bag, that can be stored easily. For now i'll consider this a plus, but not nessecary

Used is not an issue (preferred!) and even condition is negotiable, as long as it is repairable (small rips and holes ok, bent frames and structural issues not)

Thanks for reading, please PM or leave a reply if you have something I may be interested in

Is the make just a personal preference or do you already have first hand experiences with those Baby carriers? We have bought a second hand Deuter and i´m looking forward to my son being big enough to comfortably use it. I hope to be able to do longer day hikes then. Now he wants to walk on his own or has to be carried in his Buggy/Sportscar or caried with a carrying cloth or cloth carrier.

Im familiar with both Kelty and Deuter, I actually prefer Deuter to Kelty, but as far as I can tell, theres just much more Kelty child carriers out there. On ebay, ive found only a couple deuter bags as opposed to a few dozen Keltys.
Regardless, ive pulled the trigger on a Kelty K.I.D.S Elite that I found last night. Im very excited for it to come in next week
