Nah. Stick with the silver one. You don't want to turn into a full fledged collector, do you?

You've already got a 400, leave it at that or trade for a plain silver one.

I have had the itch for a BO MP400 as well. It keeps getting put on the back burner though.

I really am getting an itch for one of these now.  The simplicity and functionality is quite a combo.  The black oxide is icing on that cake.

Do it. I actually like the 400 over the 600 as the size is great for EDC. I just wish they still had the old style blades.

How much smaller is it than the 600?  I've got a 600 and it's great for work, but definitely sheath carry.  I'd like something a little smaller for weekend carry

I would say its a big enough difference for you to pick one up for weekend carry. My only MP600 at the moment is in pieces or I would do a comparison shot. It is shorter, slimmer, and I believe skinnier. I love the size of the MP400.  :tu: Once I get the other donor MP600 and put it together I will do some detailed comparison shots for you.

If you use a Leatherman (leather) Blast sheath it fits the MP400 like skin and is the slimmest sheath possible for the tool.

Picks of the sheath. You will have to make a tiny hole for the end of the pliers to stick out. You could possibly get away with not making the hole, but you would have to stretch the leather a bit. I love how there is no extra room when closed. That drives me nuts on almost every sheath.

Thanks. I have been using it for at least a year now and it works beautifully.
