I have a few small locking knives, that have Zytel handles/scales, according to Case.
They feel OK - Hard plastic feel, but the scales are not shiny so the grip is fine (They have some "jigging" to improve grip)
They feel solid enough and are very light for the size of the blade. The construction is not brilliant and one has a soft spring, whereas another has a backlock that does not go down fully (is not level with the scales) when engaged.
Some were sold partly opened (the blade at 90 degrees), in their original package, so this may have affected the springs.
Buck too has some similar, small, models - some are made in China.
- found a picture - the 3 on the right are Case XX, the 2 on the left are Buck
