My Keychain and OPT collection
on: October 03, 2015, 06:35:01 PM
I think I have enough for my merit badge for OPT. This is my keychain and OPT collection

I also have a CS and PS Style, some Squirts, and a Micra (obviously not OPTs).

And just curious. What counts as an OPT? Can someone define it a little bit for me?  The prybar between the Swiss Key and the skeleton tool is arguably not a multi tool, but it is a one piece tool. Is that one? And the screwpop is two pieces with multiple screwdriver functions. The Swiss Key is two pieces, but made to look like a key, so is that one? I'm am confused a bit by what is and what is not :)

BTW: Anyone else's OCD bothered by the direction the Timberline O2 Wrench is facing compared to the other similar tools in the column? That's the direction to face it so that the label is read left to right. They should have put their label on the other direction to be like everyone else. LOL

Congrats on getting another badge.

IMO the prybar is a OPT but the swisskey isn't.

The timberline doesn't bother me as much as the placement of the shard.  :P

Thanks :D

After I posted this, I realized I was not happy that I didn't orient the prybar with the key hole at the top of the pic like the swiss key and the skeleton pry bar. Three in a row should all have tool edge down, key hole up direction. Now I notice it every time I look at the pic. LOL

I thought about that. I'll find some list of things someone else has posted one day and fix it :)

That prybar over on the left in the pic stays on my keychain most of the time. I don't know why I don't trade out the others more often. I guess I like the simplicity of it. Stays there with my Style CS and my Fenix F05.
