Newb saying hi
on: October 09, 2015, 01:55:41 PM
Hello from England
Just checking in as a newbie after spending a very happy few days reading through the forum. I work in automotive mechanical plant maintenance.(industrial mechanic) Over the last 25 years Ive worked hands on for bmw,Ford,Jag and now Land rover.
I brought my first supertool in 94 as a curiosity, it soon became an edc when edc didnt really exist in the UK, no-one else at work seemed to pick up on the benefits of them back in the day. I think the cost in the UK may have put people off. (tightarses)
Over the years Ive carried various LM models and an original Gerber 'Bloodblister' as I call them.
I'm no stranger to the odd modification where necessary to make a tool more usable or to remove items which I dont require in an edc. The mod squad section will be receiving a picture post shortly.
Anyway, regards and best wishes to all.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
