Gerber Multiplier in Blade (1998)

Have been re-watching some older movies lately. Last night was Blade with Wesley Snipes.

At just after the 1hr mark in the movie, there is a seen where the bad guy, Deacon Frost, rips out the canine teeth of a pure blood vampire leader. He uses what looked like a Gerber MP600, but on further thought, I think it might be a Mr Pinchy version as I didn't see locking tabs like on the newer models. Also, considering it was released in 1998, I'm thinking it was an older model tool that someone had on hand for the shoot.

I've seen that movie at least 3 times before and only spotted the Gerber as an MT this time round. Nothing quite like that aha! moment when you see a multi or knife you recognize in a film or TV show.

Good spot. I carried a Mr. Pinchy on one of my first jobs after college. I was drawn to the flickiness even then and regret selling that tool off.
