I do like this light very much but must concur that it is too pricey for me. For around $10, I can have my mag light solitaire LED  which although is not as bright, is compact and simple. And if I break or lose it - it is an easy replacement :D

You're right on about that. The flashlight enthusiasts are as passionate about their lights as knife guys are. Lights can go upwards of a couple hundred pretty quickly for some of the higher end models. And customs galore are way spendy.

Thankfully I've managed to not get too far down that slope.

And you're correct, for the casual user, the Solitaire, Fenix E05, the Thrunites, and others, are quite good for the cost.

The Thrunite Titan + & Titan are getting up into the expensive category. But around what the Peaks go for, or quite a few others.

I'm not enough of a light guru to actually know the manufacturing spec differences but I'm guessing there must be. I hope anyway. Lol. They're a fun knife add-on EDC that's fun to talk about though.

Ya, lights are not only extremely useful but very cool and fun. I just used my new AA mag to charge my Casio as I had to take it off power-saving mode (for my uses). I guess it is pretty cool to have all this technology available though for those who can afford it. I personally just don't have a use or desire for a light with so many 'modes'.

Lots of heavy breathing going on here, and the light isn't even in K's hands yet. What's going to happen when pics are posted???

I hope it is worth the price tag, I never paid nearly that much for a light.
