I'm just surprised Victorinox hasn't come up with a Surgeon SAK yet. Saw, scalpel, forceps, cranial trepanner, bottle opener, corkscrew, can opener, toothpick......

Well they did prototype the surgical stapler as a business tool, so you might be onto something there  :D

Yeah, but they'll make it locking, so it won't make for a legal EDC cranial trepanner for some of us  :-\

Well, the scales did not look new anymore after spending some time at 40°, although I don't know if the problem was the heat, that it was a bit squeezed, or both...

Taking my old computer apart... Step one, take off the screws from the HDD, technically the design is tool-less but where is the fun in that.
This computer did run for 4 years without pause, thanks to the dust filters its pretty clean inside.

Needed to remove some cables and a cable binder as I want to save the power supply.
First I tried with the scissors, but couldn't manage to cut it, so I crushed it with the pliers.

Well, Bond never panics, his trademark move is to adjust his tie in a gunfight/car-chase. In Specter he flees from a single enemey :o

Bond gets captured a lot (Personally, I prefer Emma Peel getting tied up...), however in Specter he walks so blindly in a trap, it is really sad.

Bond is like a superhero comic, the storm-troopers never hit him... trying to make that "realistic" does not work

Bond used to be manly, some might say a macho or even go as far as calling him a sexist, misogynist dinosaur. The new bond drools after every woman and is no more than a whipping-boy...

Haha... no wonder Daniel Craig does not want to do another Bond movie. Thanks for sharing.

Indoor gardening

I have to start with, I'm a really poor gardener. Yes, some might think that a degree in Biology means that I know how to deal with plants but honestly, knowing the difference between the Phloem and the Xylem does not help at all.
Shortly after I moved into my first apartment, most of my plants died as they got burned behind the window on a sunny day... the only survivors, a pot full of cacti, died shortly after when I left the window open and it rained in... who knew that plants can drown :P
So today I took care of one of the plants that has been with me for over a decade (though smurf) and it has grown wild!

Taking off the air roots as they damage the wooden wall and floor.

Much better, but that branch to the left completely blocks the window...

Off it goes, so the young branches have room to grow

Much better :tu:

We had first snow last weekend and although it didn't last I decided that the bike needs fresh tires.

Thought the Juice would only be spectator and it was, for the tire change and the adjusting of the wheel (the chain felt a bit loose, so I moved the wheel back a bit).

Then I decided to adjust the brakes and found use for the Juice (new brake pads would not be bad either).

Group shot of the gang... first time I used those PM Swiss Tools tire levers (same as the Vic set), they performed really well :tu:
