New guy in the shop
on:
November 02, 2015, 09:21:56 PM
Just found this place. Looks like a great site to learn more about tools and applications.
Much of my work is done building and repairing guitars so that's the kind of related tools I use.
Looking forward to finding some new stuff and new ways to use them.
If you're bored, you're not groovin'

Welcome from someone who had the musical aptitude of a black hole.
Like Chako, I can barely play the radio, much less an instrument.
Welcome though, I love hearing a guitar, just can't make it do anything myself
If I can help, let me know

Here is a Heritage H-120 that I bought and sold because i couldnt get along with the fat neck. Friends told me it was the best sounding guitar I owned. It had a Seymour Duncan JB with a coil tap acticated by pulling the volume knob. No tone knob

It is a bit odd that a day before I posted in this thread...I came across this in Coles which is a book store.
It comes with instructions, a cute little blues box guitar, and a CD. The box said anyone could play. Yeah this should be good.
I haven't followed the instructions on how to properly string it yet. I might have to read that many times before I even attempt it.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible
"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
