Not sure, but they're some beauties!  How's the spring on that #73?  I love mine--it's a great working knife, and I never feel like I need a lock on it.

EDIT... Never mind, I see that's not a #73.  I can't keep the patterns straight anymore.

Knowing all the GEC model numbers of by heart is a prerequisite for posting in this thread

Yeah.  Comparing size with the other two was how I realized my error!  ;)

I wish my 73 had a lanyard hole...

Thanks fellas.  The #66 is a great EDC pattern.  The paper micarta scales are very tough too.

I gave the scales and bolsters a polish today.

Thanks Paul.  I like the wood scales on that Buck, and it's a tidy kit you have there.  :tu:

Here's the 1973 Case #6249 "Copperhead" or "Vietnam" knife in red bone that I'm carrying today:

Thanks guys.  ;)

I keep that one in a slip because it's one of those knives I find hard to use.  It's minty for a 1973.  I wish I could just bite the bullet and develop a patina like I have with the GEC above.  That Copperhead pattern feels really good in the hand--much better than most single-ended jacks--but it is a bit larger than what I typically use.

Paul, that slip is from KSF (www.KnivesShipFree.com)

Bought a couple of portuguese made knives yesterday. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive but this one feels so good in the hand and is so sharp and the scales have a beautifull smooth wave that I couldn't let it at home...

Thanks! It's back in the pocket today.

Did a great work at lunch yesterday and breakfast today. I'm thinking about getting some really tough steak for lunch today so I have an excuse to use it again...
