Width is 1/2 inch, 12.7mm  from screw head to screw head

Great outcome - I´d actually consider to carry this as off-day tool. My XE 6 is far too bulky for my liking.
I do like the skeletonized look, too.
Maybe translucent scales would look good, too? Maybe thin GITD G10 or clear/coloured plexiglass, like on teh Silvertech or Ruby SAKs?

How did you handle teh springs, Steve? I remember Metro smurfing about how strong they were?

It was a pain to load them. Afterward metro told the trick to doing it :facepalm:
I have some clear g10 (also known as ghost or jade). GITD is very expensive
