That CRKT looks great. Does the belt cutter retract or does it always stand out? It looks fixed...

It is fixed with torx screws between two black plastic parts, the construction is solid and the weight is low. I have not tested the belt cutter with a real belt, I use it as package opener and zip ties cutter and works just great.  The sharpener I only use it for kitchen knifes and does the job. I have two complains, the bottle opener  is not the best around and the belt cutter has a cheap plastic sleeve on it which can be easily lost. Not perfect but works for people like me who cant carry a knife or multitool all the time.

The basic idea of what's on my keyring doesn't change much, but the specific components change quite often. :)

Trying out some small S-biners that I picked up a few weeks ago.  So far no problems, even if I don't lock them closed.  Torch is my favourite Eagletac D25A Clicky.  Squirt P4 is on there to support my Fat SAK and provide some pliers.  Other than keys I've also got a neat 8GB USB on there as well.  Not something I use very often, but if you need one there's not a lot you can do to improvise around it.

I love the concept to use the clip of the torch as the main clip, your keyring is very well balanced and make me to want a LM squirt  . I also want to try those S biners for some keys I use for my work.  :tu:

What's the make of those S biners?

Nite-ize, updated version.

http://www.niteize.com/product/S-Biner-MicroLock.asp

That's the ones.  Though I actually picked up this keyrack: http://www.niteize.com/product/S-Biner-KeyRack-Steel.asp  Unlike the pic shown all the S-biners were the locking version when I bought them in a shop.  2 for $5 or 6 for $9?  Makes sense to get some extras IMO.

I think it's 6 for £5 for £1 each...

I have gone thru more revisions of my key set up than I'd like to admit.  I see some great setups but having to carry so many keys means not enough space for fun stuff.

I think I'm at 11 keys .

So sadly whats on my keychain are KEYS.

Some of you may have already seen this in another forum, but for the benefit of those who haven't I'm also posting it here. This is my version of a classic mod: removing the scissors and condensing the other tools of the Leatherman Micra to one side, in order to save space and weight. Mine has been cut down in length, too, making it especially small without losing any functionality, specifically to fit my micro survival tins.  My Telepen wearing a UV sensitive jacket is also shown.

Just replaced my trusty Leatherman carabiner I worn for years with this HG one in Ti, making it the largest piece on my key chain now.

That looks nice, is it all mechanical? I can't tell, is the gate conected to both the bottom and side to create the tension?

Yup, all mechanical - the gate is split at the attachment points at the base in short and long ends to provide tension when opening. Also when the gate is open, the bottom section of the carabiner opens too so you can effortlessly insert split ring etc.

This has been a pretty reliable setup. The Ti bottle opener isn't the best but it earns it's keep with the nice pocket clip. The Minichamp shares time with a Rambler. The flashlight adds a little more bulk than I like but I couldn't do without it

Hey did you drill holes into that carabiner to accommodate your key rings? Great thinking!

Yeah, I did it once to a aluminum one waaaaaay back when because everyone's got one but the freaking keys and everything else is on diff split rings, so as you drove all the others fell making the keychain twice as long and it would keep hitting you in the leg.. Drove me nuts  maybe that's why I am the way today? lol, but yeah I drill, no used the awl on my farmer to put the holes in, my only worry was that there is not a lot of plastic between the hole and edge, so I didn't know whether or not it would be strong, but I haven't had any problems yet(knock knock)! What I want to do is get both a red an black one and switch the gates out and go color combo, but am not to sure how the spring works on them..

I keep my setup pretty simple these days. I've had the titanium sail ring on my keychain for 9 years now. I'd be lost without it. I just added my alox rambler back to my keychain. It's a great little knife!!   :tu:

Is that a new version of the TAD skull key, or a "reproduction"?  ;) Nice work either way on the finishes. And nice to see you around. :D

Cheers.
