Wood saws...
on: November 22, 2015, 07:09:33 PM
I would like to add a BO saw to one of my mods. Apart from the Diesel, is there another tool that has a wood-saw and is compatible with the MP-600 frame?
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I believe the Strata saw would be compatible

That many tools... huh :D

Kinda weird that there is no wood-saw in the MP-600 frame

I am pretty sure the diesel saw will drop right in.

Yes, Diesel is a straight drop in, tried that yesterday... I was just wondering if there are other tools available that could serve as donor.

Bit holder? That way you can have a metal and wood saw?
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

Agreed, already have that, but a dedicated wood saw has more cutting edge for less/the same space.
I would like:
- Wood-saw
- Metal-file
- Blade-holder with Rem-Grit blade
Not sure about the last long slot yet, some prying tool would be great, maybe I will go for a combo edge. Scissors are out of the question as I have shears in that thing.

QUESTION: Are tools from the Grappler compatible with the MP-600 frame?

Maybe you could make some kind of pry tool? Just not out of a file. Too hard it would snap.

That does not leave a lot of options... Blades are probably too thin... leaving only the wood-saw.
