Happisburgh Lighthouse
« on: August 25, 2008, 05:22:02 PM »
My wife worked today and I was at home as its a public holiday here in the UK so I took the kids to Happisburgh Lighthouse . Its the oldest working light in East Anglia, and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain. Its only about 3 miles up the road from me and I've taken a bearing off it many times at sea but have never been inside it . Great view and the girls enjoyed it to , also bumped into an old school friend as well  :D

My house is about here

More info can be found here http://www.happisburgh.org/content/view/19/29/

Those bunkers in the field are left over from WW11 they were incase the Germans landed . There are loads of them around this part of the country .

Great shots. I love lighthouses as well.
Fan of the Leatherman mini-bit driver, dedicated slotted drivers, and the Victorinox backspring philips. But not combo blades.
